Tyrol has so many excursion destinations to offer - each a unique experience on its own. Why not visit the Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens or the silver mine in Schwaz? The Hohe Tauern National Park Centre in Mittersill is both educational and exciting. At 1.800 m² you dive into an alpine adventure world with ten stations. The absolute highlight is the 360-degree panoramic world with a 16 m diameter - a unique nature and summit experience!

Highly recommended for culinary connoisseurs are the many opportunities for culinary sightseeing, watching cheese, schnapps or bacon - typical Tyrolean products - produced by hand to the highest quality. In the regional farm shops, you can buy these products for yourself and as gifts for friends and family back home.

A day sightseeing in cities can also be a welcome activity on holiday. Take a day trip to Mozart’s birthplace of Salzburg, to the Golden Roof in Innsbruck, or to the charming town of Kufstein.


What would a summer holiday in Tyrol be without visiting one of the many wonderful swimming pools? Right in St Johann, the Panorama Badewelt tempts you with its well-kept leisure facilities including a giant slide set against an incomparable mountain backdrop.

The Triassic Park on the Steinplatte in Waidring is also refreshing (18 minutes by car to the valley station). In just 14 minutes by car you can reach the children's playground, covering an area of over 4000 m² and a mystical fantasy world of fairies, goblins and forest spirits. You might also visit the Hexenwasser in Söll, Alpinolino in Westendorf or the Triassic Park in Waidring.
